1897 Maria Tivey’s Will Translation (nee Marsden)
This is the last Will and Testament
of me Maria Tivey of No 32 Duffield Road, Derby, wife of William
Thomas Tivey, provisions Dealer Derby give and bequeath unto my
neice Ellen Wesley Malpas Marsden my sideboard and rocking chair as
now used in my dining room also the Blue Wardrobe upstairs also my own two
featherbeds 2 Bolsters and 4 pillows also my Electro sugar basin cream jug
and teapot and my electro plated egg stand and spoons and also all
monies I may have anywhere at my decease my clothes and all and any fancy
things or jewellery I have desire to give them to my mother
Ellen Malpas of Harts hill to do as she thinks best with them, As
witness to my hand in the presence of two other witnesses and in the
presence of each other January 15th 1897 and I appoint my brother Wm Wesley
Marsden, Executor of this my.
