The couple married at Byron Street Primitive Methodist Chapel, Macclesfield, Cheshire on 3rd October 1925.
Harry (1903-1954) was born in Carlton, Nottingham his father was a Lamp Lighter. Doris (1902-1969)was also born in Nottinghamshire.
The couple had one son, Maurice in 1927.
