This photograph was taken around 1900 and is of Edward Tivey born 1835 in Shepshed, Leciestershire.  He was the son of William Tivey and Elizabeth Heatherley (see group 8)

He emigrated to USA and fought in the civil war with his regiment 198th Pennsylvania Infantry, note the wooden peg leg!
