Emma was the daughter of Thomas Tivey and Sarah Thurman and is from Group 8. The resided in Shepshed, Leicestershire until around 1900 when they moved to Melbourne, Derbyshire; Their children were William Mabe 1888-1949, Ethel Mabe 1891-1982 (Mrs Fred Haywood) Beatrice Mabe 1896-1960 (Mrs Samuel Hollingworth) Gladys Mabe 1897-1976 (Mrs John Joseph Bentley) and Vera Mabe 1903-1985 (Mrs Richard Noel Radford)
