George-Tivey-And-Ann-Adcock-Marriage-Certificate
George Tivey was born 1745, the son of Thomas Tivey and Jane Johnson. In 1768 he married Ann Adcock, two years later he died in the Belfry at St Michels Melbourne, The burial register states "Killed by a fall in the belfry, being taken up by the rope as he was ringing. he languished about 30 hours after the accident. N B he was in Liquor" Ann & George had one son Thomas born 1749. Ann remarried in 1877 to John Calow, they had one son Francis Calow, who later married Sarah Tivey.
