Joseph Tivey was born in Burton on Trent
Staffordshire, England, to parents Joseph Tivey (1873-1952) & Rose Mary
Bennet (1878-1927). He can be seen in the picture on the right. He married
Blanche Brindley and has 2 children, Trevor & Christina.
He served in both world wars
and died as a prisoner of war in a Japanese camp in Pekanbaru, Sumatra
