This rather beautiful young lady is Muriel Tivey born to parents Alfred Tivey and Alma Winnifred Moore (Known as Dorrie).

Muriel's Great Grandfather was Samuel Tivey who was born in Derbyshire England 1814. He and wife Phebe (Nee Wild) resided in Nottingham before emigrating to Australia in 1848.  They landed on the ship "Bormendsey" at Eden, Twofold Bay, NSW, proceeded to Menare and took up land at Nimmitabel.
