Phoebe was the wife of Samuel Tivey - she and Samuel and their children emigrated on the ship Bermondsey in 1848 and settled in the Nimmitabel region of Monaro in New South Wales;

Further Notes on Phoebe:

13 January 1811 Baptism at St Werburgh's Church, Derby, Derbyshire Pheby Wild, Daughter of Thomas & Ellen: (Evidence of her parentage also appears in the Parish Registers at Brook Street Baptist Church, Derby, 21st February 1834 on the Baptism of her Son Joseph Tivey "The son of Samuel Tivey and Phoebe Wild, daughter of Thomas & Ellen Wild, Abbey Barnes, Derby St Werburgh." BUT - her death certificate suggests her father's name was William Wild, Occupation unknown, Mother Unknown - but this could have been a mistake by her son Alfred who was the informant of her death.

1841 NOTE there is a Mary Winrow residing with the family. Research shows that she was the Wife of Stephen Winrow and that her maiden name was WILD same as Phoebe. - 1841 England Census Name: Phoebe Tivey Age: 25 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1816 Gender: Female Civil Parish: St Peter Hundred: Nottingham County/Island: Nottinghamshire Country: England Street address: Harrington Street, Nottingham St Peter, Castle District; Occupation: None Stated; Registration district: Nottingham Sub-registration district: Castle Household Members: Name Age Alfred Tivey 4 Elizabeth Tivey 6 Mo Joseph Tivey 7 Phoebe Tivey 25 Saml Tivey 25 Sarah Tivey 2 Mary Winrow 45 Source Citation: Class: HO107; Piece 871; Book: 7; Civil Parish: St Peter; County: Nottinghamshire; Enumeration District: 3; Folio: 11; Page: 14; Line: 4; GSU roll: 474570. .
