She was the daughter of Samuel Tivey (1814-1876) of Melbourne Derbyshire and his wife Phoebe Wild (1811-1878)
Samuel, Phoebe and six of their children, emigrated on the Ship Bermondsey to NSW Australia in 1848.
Sarah married Alfred Edward Witts (1837-1879) and was kept busy by their 14 Children!!!!
