The gentleman in the centre is the local church minister.
Both chaps were born in Burton on Trent but their family moved to the Manchester area about 1911.
William Henry was a civil servant in the post office and Ernest Joseph became a joiner.
They are both sons of William Tivey (1871-1981) and Jessie Mary Faulkner (1876-1958)
