THE TIVEYS OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE
There are isolated records, only of marriages, relating to Tiveys in Cambridgeshire in the 17th and early 18th centuries. (See note in Group A respelling). Whether the male line died out or whether the family moved from the area is not known, but it is fairly certain that there was no Tiveys in this area by the end of the 18th century.

12th October 1682 Henry Tevey married Anne Man at March
4th October 1693 John Tive married Ann Mace at Lem (both of Walsoken)
16th April 1707 John Tivie, widower, married Bridget Wells, widow, at Elm (both of Emneth)
9th September 1723 Elizabeth Tivey married John Rawlinson at Elm
19th April 1724 John Tivy married Mary Setchel at Wisbech
8th March 1738 Martha Tivy married William Barrit at Downham
3rd November 1745 Henry Tivy married Margaret Canham at Downham
