-    April 1740              Mrs. Tivey died in Newton Solney

 

3^rd  May 1745              George Tivey of Newton Solney married Susanna Peach of Willington

                                       In Derby (St. Michaels)

 

6^th June 1748               George Tivey married Elizabeth Tookey in Newton Solney

 

-    September 1773     George Tivey died in Newton Solney

 

 

It is possible that there were two George Tiveys – one the father of the other and also possibly the father of Francis – see Group 20.

 

The marriages in 1745 and 1748 were probably the second marriage of the father (widowed in 1740) and the first marriage of the son. Either could have died in 1773.
